ANTIGUA SAILING WEEK OFFERS ADVERTISING ON ASWTV
Monday 26th March 2012

Antigua Sailing Week, one of Antigua’s biggest national events and a world-class sailing regatta, will take place this year from the 29th of April to the 4th of May.

In time for the 2012 regatta Antigua Sailing Week is offering an opportunity for businesses to promote and create awareness about their products and/or services through Antigua Sailing Week TV (ASWTV). ASWTV is new to Antigua Sailing Week and the organisers are excited about the opportunities it will provide for increased expsoure to local businesses. ASWTV will be aired in 19 bars and restaurants in the English Harbour area throughout Antigua Sailing Week. See the list of bars and restaurants taken from the event program below.

The restaurants and bars will be showing a feed that will provide them with the latest Antigua Sailing Week videos, photos, results, sponsors' ads and paid-for ads from their opening time until they close each day. Paid for ads will play once per hour. ASWTV will be on air from Saturday 28th April to Friday 4th May and given that minimum opening hours for each bar and/or restaurant is 6 hours per day, there will be a minimum of 798 ad views (6 hours x 7 days x 19 bars and restaurants) during the event. In addition, some venues will have more than one screen in play each day.

ASWTV will providee an ideal advertising opportunity to enhance a company's visibility as the event attracts more than 100 boats annually (104 boats are already registered), along with approximately 1,500 sailors and even more spectators from Antigua and abroad. Advertising on ASWTV will provide direct exposure in a very cost-effective manner to thousands of high net worth consumers who are interested in sailing, marine and related products and services, real estate, investment and vacation experiences.

Antigua Sailing Week is offering limited advertising spaces on the news feeds that will show paid for ads. As this is the first year of ASWTV the organisers want to show businesses the potential of advertising on the network and therefore introductory rates are offered as follows:

• File types, mpg, mp4 or mov are suitable for providing video. Video footage will be played in some venues without sound and therefore should be designed to deliver message visually.

Please note: Businesses in direct competition with any of Antigua Sailing Week's sponsors are excluded from this offer.

A booking form can be found here. If you would like to place an ad please fill it in and email it back to info@sailingweek.com.

The deadline for booking has been extended to April 13th. Deadline for artwork is 16th April.
Please contact Alison at info@sailingweek.com or call +1 268 725-4692 if you would like to discuss this advertising opportunity.
