WILD PLANTS OF ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA
Monday 5th July 2010

The Best of Books takes this opportunity to congratulate the Environmental Awareness Group on the recent publication of a new book which will be launched on Friday 9th July 2010.

“The Wild Plants of Antigua and Barbuda” an illustrated field guide to the native and naturalised vascular plants of the islands fills a gap that has existed for too long.  With a launch scheduled for Friday 9th July 2010, at Royal Palm Place on Friars Hill Road, the book becomes available to all nature lovers. People who simply want to know more about the plants that share our islands with us will also consider it to be yet another Antiguan and Barbudan book that must be on their shelf.

The authors, Christopher Pratt, Kevel Lindsay, Melanie Pearson, and Carolyn Thomas who with assistance from USAID made this publication a reality have made a significant contribution in their chosen field.

The Best of Books is honoured to be a part of this historic event.
