Group Shared Services Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Group Shared Services Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our shared services department.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our Budget Marine Group team and ensure its effective functioning across all locations within the Budget Marine Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of corporate structures and governance, along with proven experience in management roles.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that group shared services are aligned with organizational goals and responsibilities are clearly defined for each department.

2. Set goals and objectives for each department and location, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

3. Communicate challenges identified by group shared services to location managers and boards, and shareholders as necessary.

4. Address identified challenges on both management and board levels in collaboration with relevant group shared services staff.

5. Manage HR duties for group shared services staff, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development.

6. Oversee day-to-day management of shared services, including setting goals, managing resources, and ensuring efficiency.

7. Monitor and optimize group shared services operations to maximize contribution to group profitability.

8. Provide equal attention and support to all Budget Marine locations, ensuring consistency in service delivery.

9. Advise location boards on manager performance and make recommendations as appropriate.

10. Meet and communicate with shareholders as required to provide updates on shared services performance.

11. Provide advice and support to location managers to help them meet goals and objectives set by ownership.

12. Develop yearly group service budget with input from CFO and shared services staff, ensuring alignment with location budgets.

Required Skills and Experience:

 Minimum of 5 years in a management role, preferably in a corporate setting.

 University degree in business or related field.

 Solid understanding of corporate structures and governance.

 Ability to allocate 40 hours per week for the role.

 Candidate in or close to the Caribbean region preferred.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

 Proven leadership and team management skills.
