THANKSGIVING IN ANTIGUA

With lots of places to get a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings, check out our guide to choosing a spot to celebrate Thanksgiving in Antigua here.

HERITAGE QUAY 25TH ANNIVERSARY

This Thursday 28th November is the 25th Anniversary of Heritage Quay and throughout the day there will be fantastic savings, specials and discounts at stores in the area. Also, any purchase you make at one of the stores makes you eligible to enter to win a prize! Read all about it here.

Be sure to stop by Columbian Emeralds and check out their specials that day, with slashed prices on various jewellery pieces. Don’t forget about Twilight Thursdays in Redcliffe Quay, where you can move over to after browsing Heritage Quay, as a number of stores stay open until 9:00 pm for your shopping convenience.

15TH ANNUAL MOODS OF PAN

The 15th Annual Moods of Pan Festival is back again this weekend, from Saturday 30th November to Sunday 1st December, bringing you two nights of fantastic pan music by the Gemonites Steel Orchestra. Come out to the Dean William Cultural Centre on both nights at 6:30 pm and treat yourself and family to the sweet sounds of steel pan!

DINING & NIGHTLIFE

Art at the Ridge hosts their Opening Season Art Show this Friday 29th November, featuring work by many local artists, including Jan Farara, Dina de Brozzi, Glenroy Aaron and more.

The Revo Band is performing live at Mad Mongoose this Friday Night from 10:00 pm, followed on Sunday by Sheik Karaoke.

The Ministry of Sound World Tour I comes to Abracadabra this Saturday, with York, Jayson Miro and more on the decks throughout the night.

Admiral’s Inn is hosting a Five Course South American Tasting Menu Dinner on Saturday 30th November, featuring optional wine flight pairing, special Chilean wines by the glass and bottle and live music by the Harbour Trio.

The Italian Lounge is back at Cambusa Italian Restaurant as they host Salotto Italiano on Sunday 1st December, with Italian Aperitif and Lounge music from 6:00 pm.

The first ever Movember Party is coming to Antigua this Sunday and Sheer Rocks is hosting it! Mobro’s and Mosista’s are invited out for an afternoon of tunes, drink specials and unlimited tapas until sunset.

Come out to the Antigua Yacht Club next Thursday 5th December and enjoy the Island Academy Christmas Carol Concert on the lawn.

The Bay House Restaurant is open every day from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm serving all day breakfast, Tapas on the deck and happy hour each evening.

The Crow’s Nest offers nightly entertainment, dining and drink specials with a weekly schedule packed with fun nights for everyone. Thursday Night is Dance in Line, with an Asian Inspiration Menu and wine and vodka specials, followed by Friday After Work Escapes with Fish and Chips, Steel Band and DJ Stiffler. Come by for Saturday live sets with BBQ and Carib Beer Bucket specials, then on Sunday for their Comfort Food day, with Monday night reserved for Movie Madness. Tuesday night is their Seafood Fiesta with cocktail specials and their house DJ and Wednesday is their Karaoke Night and Beer Bucket Special.

Cater for your holiday party with a Subway Sandwich Platter, perfect for a Staff Party and sufficient to feed 10 to 15 persons. Arrange with them with at least 2 hours notice for a party platter that’s sure to please everyone.

RESTAURANT REOPENINGS & EXTENDED OPENING HOURS

Cloggy’s has extended their opening hours, now open from Tuesday to Sunday serving lunch and dinner, with Sunday Brunch only on Sundays. Join them every afternoon for Happy Hours and Tapas and try out their Sushi Menu, and take advantage of various dining specials like their Hot Curry Night on Wednesdays and Workers Lunch from Wednesdays to Fridays.

Yoga Antigua restarts classes from Tuesday 3rd December with their new schedule and in their new location on the side of the Antigua Yacht Club. They will open every day with various forms of yoga classes, alongside Zumba and Yoga and Zumba for kids. SAILING

Another STCW 95 Basic Safety Training Course starts on Monday 2nd December with Ondeck as they offer several maritime training courses throughout the year.

COMMUNITY

The 5AM Hike Club has teamed up with Stingray City to bring you a Family Fun Day on Saturday November 30th.
