This Thursday is another Therapy Thursdays at Big Banana, featuring special menu items, drink specials and entertainment, all starting at 4:30 pm.
Frolic at Millers by the Sea each Friday evening for an After Work Adult Lime, with drinks at EC$2 between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, followed by EC$5 drinks and beer. Enjoy tasty dishes like Seafood, Meat and Surf and Turf Platters and dance the night away to music by DJ Shastri.
Sugar Club hosts Jagerbomb X-plosion this Saturday, with DJs Charlie, Anya and Matty Boy from Chicago on the decks all night, featuring available bootle service and a special Jager shot bar.
Carmichael’s offers a complimentary sunset cocktail of English Harbour 5 year Old Rum to each guest arriving before 7:00 pm each evening throughout September. Join them for a sundowner before dinner in one of the best places to watch the sun set.
Grab tickets early for the Launch Party of the 6th Annual Francis Nunes Jr Memorial Fishing Tournament & Seafood Festival taking place next Saturday 21st at The Tides Restaurant. This Saturday’s Hash starts at 4:00 pm, with the meeting point set for the junction of Burma Road in Winthorpes Bay.
This Sunday is the date set for the Scrubo Pineapple Cycling Time Trial, taking competitors from the Police Recreation Ground through to Crabs and back. Come to the roadside to cheer these athletes on and watch your favourites.
COMMUNITY
Tomorrow is the start of Red Cross’ Certified First Aid/CPR Training Course, offering classes twice weekly on either Mondays and Thursdays or Fridays and Saturdays. The course runs for four weeks and provides certified training that could save the life of someone you know.
The Cushion Club restarts it's weekly children reading sessions this Saturday, after their break for summer holidays. The sessions take place each Saturday at the University Centre from 10:30 am - noon and are free, though you can support the club through volunteering and/or book donation.
The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda has conducted surveys of mill towers left standing in Antigua and created a report outlining their cultural history, condition, dimensions and more, which can be seen at their research department at the Museum. Entrance is free.
The Antigua Barbuda Horticultural Society has announced the date of their 4th Annual Tea Party, under the theme ‘A Herbalicious Tea’, featuring a variety of herbs and related information.
