This Friday, Abracadabra presents the Midsummer Night’s Dream featuring DJ Quixx and Jahny Gwaap on the decks throughout the night. Entrance fee is EC$10 at the gate before midnight and the cost goes up later.
Big Banana is now offering BOGO Tuesdays, where you can buy any large pizza, except cheese, and get a personal cheese pizza for free! This offer is on every Tuesday until October 31st and don’t forget about their Therapy Thursdays, the twice monthly special evening of entertainment, new pizza flavors and menu items, happening at their Redcliffe Street location.
Tuesday is the night to get pizza free as Al Porto also offers weekly 241 Pizza Night, giving two pizzas for the price of one. While you dine enjoy music by Poppy and Alex.
Chippy Antigua serves traditional English Fish and Chips, along with other delicious meals like shrimp, lobster, meat pies, curries and more, each Friday and Wednesday from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Join them for casual dining under the stars by their red van at Dickenson Bay, or pick up tasty take-away for your convenience.
Kick off the weekend with Salsa lessons at The Crow’s Nest, now on each Friday evening from 9:00 pm through to midnight, with their kitchen open serving the Fish and Chips special until 9:30 pm. You can also join them throughout the week for one of their daily specials, like Rum Night on Saturdays with their BBQ special, Comfort Food Sundays, Movie Night each Monday, Seafood Fiesta on Tuesdays with Finlandia drink specials, Karaoke and Tapas on Wednesdays and Ladies Night on Thursdays.
Next Saturday August 24th, is the date set for Cloggy's reopening for the new season. Cloggy's fans will be pleased to know they are back from their break, serving up great food and hospitality as always. They will open from Wednesday through Sunday, with their famous Sunday Brunch on weekly.
The Tides Restaurant has closed now until the beginning of October. They thank their valued customers for their support through the year and look forward to another great season in a few months.
CAFE BAMBULA CLOSING
Café Bambula is saying a big Thank You to all their valued customers who have supported the restaurant and their journey over the past four years, as they now prepare for the last few weeks before the restaurant closes at the end of September. Before they close, they are offering an enticing menu, great specials and entertainment to make their final days with you extra special.
They open Wednesdays through Saturdays serving lunch only on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with lunch and dinner available on Thursdays and Fridays. Join them soon for good laughs, good fun and fantastic food.
SPORT SHORTS
This weekend is the Three Stage Race, taking cyclists to three locations and routes as they compete for a spot on the podium. Routes include from the Police Recreation Grounds to Pares Round-about, Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds big circuit and from the Stadium to St James and back.
The next hash day is set for this Saturday, with the meeting point at the Seatons Playing Field. Whether you are a seasoned hasher or a newcomer, join them for a great walk or run through the countryside.
COMMUNITY
The Environmental Awareness Group is taking guests back to the ocean this month with their August Field Trip, going Kayaking around Mercer’s Creek. The trip is set for this Saturday with Antigua Nature Tours and costs EC$35 for members and EC$50 for non-members, with funds being raised to support their projects and activities.
