CARIBBEAN COMEDY FESTIVAL RETURNS Tuesday 13th March 2012
In times like these we need levity, and the Caribbean Comedy Festival is the answer.
The Comedy Festival returns to Antigua with a splash of fun, laughter and humour on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Antigua Recreation Grounds.
The Caribbean Comedy Festival has a decade-old history in Antigua, and comedy lovers can attest that it gets better with age.
Part of Comedy Festival's attraction is the wealth of talent that converges at one venue for this venerable show. The other part is one never knows what to expect as the cast varies from one year to the next, mixing fresh talent with the veterans. This change ensures that loyal fans can expect something new and exciting at each edition.
Among those who will be representing Trinidad & Tobago are the invincible prince of clownishness Learie Joseph, Tommy Joseph, Errol Fabien, the Mal'jo King himself; Louis Antoine, a witty and topical entertainer. Donna Hadad, the only female on the cast, is well rehearsed and promises to deal with the irresponsible men in society.
From the rest of the Caribbean the ever popular lean machine from Barbados known as Trevor “Dynamite” Eastmond; top notch Jamaicans Ity & Fancy Cat and Fatman George will be representing Grenada. Booked thus far from Antigua is Birdman.
A few surprises are also in store. Each entertainer has been working feverishly on their new material to ensure that patrons are kept in stitches from start to finish.
Early Bird ticket buyers will get a whopping EC$20 of on Friday, March 16th and Saturday, March 17th only.
Tickets outlets are Kennedy’s Liquor World and Super Power Electronics and Bargain Center Perry Bay.
