There are culinary delights to keep you well-fed this week. A.S.Brydens and La Brasserie are hosting a Buffet Campagnard, with rustic French food, Rokuni goes Japanese with the Soto Social. Billy Melnyk, the inspiration behind the brand will be there to tell you all about it. There’s a new Seafood Night at Catherine’s and Thai at Boom and Admiral’s Inn. How about breakfast at Lucky Eddi’s with its wide selection of dishes? You’d better hit the tennis courts after this week!
Away from the restaurant scene, you can sample some of Antigua’s History as Clarence House opens its doors for tours.
The highlight of the week is the 8th March Project in Nelson’s Dockyard and a lecture on the subject at Cobbs Cross Primary School. The project remembers and celebrates the life of those Africans who died on 8th March 1744 in an explosion in the dockyard.
The last of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challengers are still rowing but this weekend Atlantic Dragons and Cabbies do Atlantic Row will be cheered into Jolly Harbour after a long pull from Lanzarote in the Monkey’s Fist Atlantic Dash to a welcome hosted by Sheer Rocks.
