WILD TAMARIND RESTAURANT AND WHAT’S ON Thursday 2nd February 2023
There are a lot of congratulations this week and what a great way to start. Carsten Olsen of Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge received the faithful and meritorious award from Governor General sir Rodney Williams. Spare a thought for those still out there in the Atlantic, rowing to Nelson’s Dockyard. A huge shout for Single rower Linda Emilsen with 1000 miles to go and still valiantly pulling.
Congratulations too, to Antigua’s talented young artists who won awards for their entries to the Christmas Card competition. Last weekend heralded the arrival of the largest cruise ship to port in Antigua: Arvia will be homeporting here, bringing over 7,000 visitors and crew onto the island on a regular basis.
An important sporting weekend is coming up with the start of the Six Nations Rugby championship on Saturday 4th. Sit back and enjoy a special rugby lunch and drinks at Lucky Eddi’s (home-mace nachos and dips are delicious), or Cloggy’s ( food always great) and make sure you cheer the right team!
Time to experience a new Restaurant? Wild Tamarind boasts awesome views; enjoy your first experience with sunset, violins and aperitivos!
