WHAT'S ON

The BCRC- Caribbean is currently executing a regional Project entitled “GEF ID:5558: Development & Implementation of a Sustainable Management Mechanism for POPs in 8 Caribbean Countries ” to include Antigua & Barbuda.

On Tuesday 23rd November 2021, The Source Separation, Collection & Composting Pilot Project was launched at the Cooks Landfill & Amenity Site. This project aids to Reduce contamination by POPs and Unintentionally Produced Persistent Organic Pollutants (UPOPS) emissions by improving waste management practices at landfills.

By participating in the process we can help to drastically reduce the amount of waste in the landfill. Let’s help keep Antigua and Barbuda nice and clean
