Driftwood is all on one level; air conditioned throughout, and is one of only two beachfront villas, with three bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms. The villa has been extensively renovated and refurbished throughout in 2024, by the new owners. Driftwood now offers the very best in comfortable tropical living, perfect for families of all ages. In particular a new spacious kitchen has been fitted with corian worktops, American style fridge with icemaker, dishwasher, Bosch eye level oven, microwave oven, Bosch induction hob and warming drawer. The bar area has a beer froster and there are two safes. Free wi-fi available, television in the lounge and also all bedrooms.   

Just steps away from the gently sloping manicured white sand beach and warm sparkling calm sea, Driftwood is conveniently situated  at the very end of the Village complex, with its own  patio garden, just several  minutes walk from the main Hotel.

Driftwood is unique in that it offers total flexibility, having a spacious main 2 bedroom villa with a large patio with gas BBQ, and the benefit of a separate additional self contained 1 bedroom guest cottage, ideal for grandparents or teenage children, (occasionally available as a separate unit), with mini kitchen and separate courtyard garden with an additional compact gas BBQ, ideally suited for a couple with perhaps a young child. The master bedroom has a king size double bed and the other two bedrooms also have king size, which can be separated into two twins if preferred. Bedroom one and three have large patio doors leading out onto the terrace. 

The rental includes maid service twice weekly, sheets are changed weekly – personal laundry service is available through the hotel at the guest’s expense

St James Club is a well established hotel and private villa resort. Guests have the use of the resort’s sailing boats, paddle boards and kayaks with the guidance of the water sports team as well as the full use of the Club’s other facilities such as gym, beauty spa, tennis, children’s  4 to12 club etc.

Guests also have the option to avail themselves of the hotel’s all inclusive food and drinks package which includes three meals a day in any of the restaurants, all drinks and snacks at the beachside and poolside bars and the drinks buggy which travels up and down the beach offering you the drink of your choice, this available for all or part of your stay. Alternatively, if you choose not to opt for the all inclusive plan, you can charge drinks and meals to your account as you go.

Driftwood offers the best of both worlds – a private villa where you can “do your own thing” coupled with all the amenities, security etc of a fabulous hotel on a wonderful Caribbean beach.

There is a Tourism Guest Levy of US$5 per person per night (guests over 5 years),  and a Resort fee of $24 per day regardless of occupancy. Rates below are inclusive of 17% ABST (Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax).
