Antiguan boats were successful at the 2012 edition of the Triskell Cup Regatta in Guadeloupe at the beginning of November. Biwi Magic, owned by Geoffrey Pidduck and sailed with crew Janie Easton and Patmore Watson, took first place in its class. Tanner Jones' Blue Peter finished in fourth place in the same division.
Other Antiguan boats participating included Sandy Mair's Cricket which struggled a little with the French rating system and placed only 10th in class but put on a great effort. Bernie Wong was doing well with his Mumm 36 High Tension until a collison on the second day of racing following which he was forced to retire from the regatta.
Congratulations to the organisers who put on a fantastic event and to all participants who put on a good effort and had a great time!
