ANTIGUANICE YACHTING INSIDER ISSUE 207 Thursday 27th April 2023
The last cheer has barely faded away after Classics as boats from all over the world are gearing up for the 54th Antigua Sailing Week. Serious racing and serious fun are the name of the game this week, starting with the Peter’s and May Round-the-Island Race on Friday, followed by five days of racing. The winning entrants in the Harper’s Art Competition are currently displayed at the National Sailing Academy and will be at the Copper and Lumber from May 3rd. Make sure you go along and admire some truly impressive artwork by Antiguan youngsters. ASW brings a whole slew of musical events, don’t miss Neon Rave and Reggae in the Park; 2023 has an awesome lineup to take you dancing into the night. When the racing is finished make sure you don’t miss Dockyard Day; tug-o-war, slippery Pole, beating the retreat - what a way to end ASW. Fantastic! It’s not the end of sailing though; Antigua to Bermuda, 2023 Optinam back in Antigua; the best sailing starts here. Boat sales, events, news, it’s all in this week’s Yachting Insider.
