12-PERSON TEAM COMPLETES ATLANTIC ROWING CROSSING Wednesday 5th May 2021
A concept boat from Rannoch Adventure, Roxy, a 12-person ocean rowing boat completed her inaugural Atlantic crossing on 3rd May, arriving in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua, after 42 days, 2 hours, and 30 minutes, from their starting point in Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
From her reveal in February, Rannoch gave details on Roxy: “All her systems are not only leading edge technology, but super-efficient and can be monitored from our office, regardless of where she is in the world.
With her sexy wrap, the most advanced power, communications and navigation systems, extensive safety equipment, hand crafted storage pockets in every nook and cranny and, the icing on the cake, multi-coloured LED lights on her deck, she really is a stunning boat.”
Charlie Pitcher led the team, including Dawn, Cat, Ciara, Ian, Louise, Mark, Rupert, Sian, Simon, Sophie and Ted, to complete their Atlantic crossing in fine style.
