TIGER TYSON NOMINATED FOR YOUNG SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR Monday 2nd July 2018
With just a few months left before the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in October in Argentina, this summer for Antigua’s Tiger Tyson is set to be intense, filled with back-to-back training and the Open Worlds Competition.
Tiger has just been nominated for Young Sportsman of the Year for the 2018 National Youth Awards, to be announced at the awards ceremony on 5th July. Tiger will unfortunately miss the ceremony as he'll be away on training but best of luck to him and congratulations on the nomination!
He has just begun training with the USA Team in Outer Banks, Nags Head in the US followed by training in Italy mid-July before he takes part in the TT:R Open World Championships in Italy over 24 – 29 July.
Following the competition Tiger is set to train again with Team USA in Greece, then in Argentina and Brazil with the Argentinian Team in August, and back to school in September. Tiger then heads to Argentina and begins his bid in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games from 6th October.
