YOUTH TO KEEL AT ASW 2024 Friday 20th September 2024
This year’s Antigua Sailing Week (ASW) kicked off with a youth-focused pre-event at the National Sailing Academy, featuring the launch of the 2024 Axxess Marine Youth to Keel (Y2K) program and the announcement of the winners of the Harper’s School Art Competition. Over 60 young people, along with their families, teachers, and sponsors, gathered to celebrate. ASW announced that 48 Antiguan youths aged 25 and under were due to participate in the racing fleet, highlighting the growing involvement of young sailors. Axxess Marine, continuing their third year of sponsorship, provided participants with official ASW Y2K uniforms and dry bags, reinforcing their commitment to nurturing the next generation of sailors.

During ASW many of of students and instructors had phenomenal experiences onboard the visiting yachts creating relationships and their own networks around the world.
