ABCSI TO HOST WORKSHOP FOR SPORTS ASSISTANCE Wednesday 5th June 2013
As part of the Ministry of Sports' 2013 Year of Sports activities, the National Institute of Sports is partnering with the Antigua Barbuda Coalition of Services Industries (ABCSI) to build capacity of its key stakeholders through training in writing proposals to seek grant funding for projects in the business of sports and recreation.
The training course, entitled “Direct Assistance Grants Workshop" which will be held on Tuesday, 18th June 2013 from 9 am-3 pm at the Jolly Beach Resort is being jointly hosted by ABCSI and Antigua and Barbuda Investment Authority (ABIA) with funding from the Caribbean Export Development Agency in Barbados. All interested sports stakeholders who are registered either as friendly societies, non-profit or for profit companies are invited to indicate an interest in participating in this workshop by Tuesday June 4th, 2013. Registration is required for the limited number of spaces required.
There is a very good chance that your project proposal will be approved for funding if you successfully complete the workshop and follow through on the guidelines provided.
