SCHOOL FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS ARE IN Friday 30th November 2012
The Cool & Smooth-Ministry of Sports School Football season is coming to a close after quite an exciting season. Several rounds of matches were played in the Under 18 and under 15 categories respectively and all teams are to be commended for their hard work and dedication. However, at the end of it all Pares Secondary School recaptured the coveted title in the Under 18 boys Division, St. Anthony’s Secondary School won in the Under 18 Female Division and the Antigua Grammar School was victorious in the Under 15 category. The Under 15 Female Division will conclude on December 6th 2012.
The lead scorers carried their teams well and deserve a pat on the back for their efforts. In the Under 18 Boys Division, Darius Hector of the Pares Secondary School scored the most goals with a total of nine. Kadesha Martin of the Ottos Comprehensive scored 13 goals which allowed her to be named the leading scorer in the Under 18 Female Division. Ammiel Joseph of the National Technical training Centre led in goal scoring in the Under 15 Boys Division with 17 goals. The final match for the Under 15 Girls Division will take place on December 6, 2012. A list of the results is shown below.
Under 18 Female Division
Champion- St. Anthony’s Secondary School (27 points)
Second Place- Ottos Comprehensive School (18 points)
Third Place- Princess Margaret School (17 points)
Under 18 Boys Division
Champion- Pares Secondary School (30 points)
Second Place- Antigua Grammar School (21 points)
Third Place- Princess Margaret School (19 points)
Under 15 Boys Division
Champion- Antigua Grammar School (28 points)
Second Place- National Technical Training Centre (22 points)
Third Place- All Saints Secondary School (21 points)
