MINI BUSINESS LABS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS Friday 26th October 2012

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Barbados and the OECS, in partnership with the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), are pleased to announce the “Mini Business Labs” for Young Entrepreneurs that will take place on October 29, 2012, in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, at the Multipurpose Cultural Centre.
The Mini-Labs is a one-day awareness creation workshop that helps young people identify business ideas which later can be developed into business plans or established businesses. The Mini Business Labs is a component in a larger UNDP project called: Youth-Innovation
(Youth-IN): A Caribbean network for youth development, which promotes youth INclusion, youth INnovation, youth INterest and youth INvolvement. Participants will then be eligible to compete at the upcoming Caribbean Innovation Challenge (CIC), a regional competition promoting innovation, entrepreneurial initiatives and key resources for young people in the Caribbean. The CIC is also a component in the UNDP Youth-IN program.
This workshop will be facilitated with assistance from national partners such as the Ministry of Youth of Antigua and Barbuda and the GARD Center.
