Interest is building for the second Min-Soccer Fest to be staged on Sunday, 20 May, 2012 at the Buckley’s School Field with two new categories added.

Organisers say an Under 10 division featuring players nine years and younger and an Open senior category will also form part of the event will run from 1pm to 7pm on two small-sided fields.
At least two new teams – Sandals Grande Resort Social Club and Young Cubans of All Saints – are among the teams registered so far.

Sandals will be competing in the 5v5 Open category will Young Cubans will play in the U14 and U17 age-groups. Sap, Sea View Farm, Villa Lions and Shot Gun have all expressed an interest in taking part.
Empire – winners of the U12 and U14 titles during the first Mini-Soccer Fest on April 28 – as well as Old Road who triumphed in the U16 division will be back to defend their titles.Host Young Warriors, Seaglans and Willikies will also be aiming for top honours this time around.

The schedule is as follows:
1pm-2pm – U10-Boys & Girls – 9 v 9
2pm-3pm -- U12 – Boys & Girls – 7 v 7
3pm-4pm – U14 – Boys & Girls – 7 v 7
4pm-5pm – U16 – Boys & Girls – 7 v 7
5pm-7pm -- Open – Men & Women – 5 v5

The Registration fee is $5.00 per player. Prizes include trophies and gifts. Food & Drinks will be on sale and other attractions include music, the bounce castle and May Pole Dancers
