ANTIGUAN SELECTED TO VOLUNTEER ON THE ANTI-DOPING PARALYMPIC GAMES Monday 20th February 2012
Ms. Kristy Dickenson one of the more experienced Doping Control Officers (DCO) in the region has been selected to volunteer for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Limited (LOCOG) as a Doping Control Officer
Kristy along with other selected DCOs from over 40 countries will travel to London to participate in a 3 day training workshop on doping control procedures and orientation on the particular sport venue and team to which assigned. The workshop is scheduled to take place over the weekend of February 17th to 19th at the British Library in Central London
Ms. Dickenson’s volunteer role is presently scheduled for the Paralympic Games.
Kristy’s acceptance sends a very positive signal to regional anti-doping efforts, and ultimately to Antigua and Barbuda
The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association is very happy to provide the airline ticket to facilitate her travel and takes this opportunity to wish her all the best
