As the day continued and with the completion of the round robin qualifiers the Under 14 main draw matches commenced.
Entering the main draw as the #1 seed D'Jeri Raymond defeated Yasmin Levens of the Netherland Antilles 6-3, 6-2 securing her spot in the semi finals.
Jevannie Ambrose came up against Elan Mendes of Trinidad & Tobago losing in straight sets 2-6, 2-6.
U14 Semi finals play continues tomorrow as D'Jeri Raymond the #1 seed comes up against #3 seed Natasha Esschendal of Aruba an old rival of 2010, whom Raymond lost too in the Quarter finals 2010.
In the U14 girls doubles competition Raymond is teamed up with #2 seed Shaeda Nickle of Jamaica and come up against the team of Knol & Levens of the Netherland Antilles in the doubles semi finals.
In the U14 boys doubles competition Ambrose has teamed up with Yagil Elias of Suriname and will take on Niels Van Dam & Mitchell Servage of the Netherland Antilles in the first round of the doubles competition.
The U18 competition saw favourable results for Jody Maginely & doubles partner Kian McClean of USA this doubles pair defeated Patrick Graham (Great Britian) & Asdrubal Marcano (Netherland Antilles) 6-2,6-2 Maginley and McClean comes up tomorrow against #2 seed Franco Matias Escotte of Argentina and Fernando Luis Garcia of Panama in the doubles quarterfinals.
