Young Warriors Football Club presents the seventh staging of the annual Warriors Cup tournament which will be played in two categories from August 4-28, 2011 at three separate venues in Antigua and Barbuda.
The Youth Cup – involving Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 sides for boys and girls – will be played from August 4-14 at the John Hughes Playing Field.
The open Championship Cup for the prestigious Warriors Cup is to be staged from August 20-26 at the English Harbour Playing Field followed by the Final Four (semi-finals and final) on August 27 & 28 at the Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG).
Invitations have already been sent out to Antiguan clubs who have until July 15 to indicate their interest.
Another highlight to the programme will be the convening of a Youth Development Camp from August 15-19 which will cater for boys and girls between the ages of 9-17 years to further enhance and hone the continued development of their technical abilities.
