TEAM ANTIGUA AT 2019 PAN AM GAMES Tuesday 13th August 2019
Some incredible results were achieved by Antiguan and Barbudan athletes at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, over 24th July – 11th August.
Most notable was Priscilla Frederick, who took Silver in Women’s High Jump, followed by Alston Ryan who earned Bronze in Men’s Boxing, and Cejhae Greene who took Bronze in Men’s 100m. Read more about their incredible successes here.
In Sailing, Tiger Tyson ranked 6th in Open Kiteboarding, Jalese Gordon ranked 18th in Women’s Dinghy, and Jules Mitchell ranked 18th in Men’s Dinghy.
Antigua and Barbuda was also represented in Tennis, with Jody Maginley ranking 17th in Men’s Singles, and in Swimming, Bianca Mitchell ranked 28th, 27th, and 24th in Women’s 50m, 100m, and 200m Freestyle respectively, while Lleyton Martin took 31st, 27th, and 22nd in Men’s 50m and 100m Freestyle, and 100m Butterfly respectively.
