TEAM FACING IT FOR TALISKER WHISKY ATLANTIC CHALLENGE 2016 Thursday 16th June 2016
Antigua resident Wayne Johnson, owner of Antigua Buggys and Catamaran Sailing Antigua, will be joining in the grueling feat this year at the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge starting in December 2016.
Originally from South Africa, Wayne will be joining trio team Facing It alongside Charl Gale, who assisted with planning a previous solo crossing in the challenge in 2015, and Stuart Connacher, who completed the 2014 challenge with a team of 8, and then again for the 2015 edition as a solo rower.

Team Facing It will represent South Africa and will raise funds while they row across the Atlantic for the Smile Foundation, of which Wayne states “Our boat, Tide, will reflect branding of the Smile foundation in strong support for their altruistic mission of improving the smiles and lives of children with facial defects in South Africa. Smiles work has definitely become part of our lives and team Facing It 2016”. Another charity team Facing It is raising funds for is the Friends of the Care Project, who care for disabled children in Antigua and Barbuda.
