VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR RORC CARIBBEAN 600 Monday 8th February 2010
As many of you are aware the RORC Caribbean 600 is just around the corner and we are seeking your experience and expertise in various roles to really make the Antigua Yacht Club, RORC and Antigua proud of this new event in the Caribbean yachting calendar.
We are looking for volunteers in various categories as follows:-
HOSPITALITY: - information desk, from 19th to the 22nd February VIP hosting, 20th and 26th February meeting and greeting finishing boats on the dock - day & night shifts. 24th, 25th and 26th February - meeting finishing boats on the water (do you have a suitable vessel?) day & night shifts, * 24th, 25th and 26th Feb looking after the media and press from 15th to 26th February. You would only be expected to do one night shift of 4 hours.
FORT CHARLOTTE: - a large team with sailing and/or racing expertise for the start on Monday 22nd February 2010.
People to help with the finishes - day & night shift work.* (*again one night shift of 4 hours) 24th, 25th and 26th Feb
SOCIAL EVENT TEAM: - set up and pack up of the Welcome party on the 20th February 2010. Set up and pack up of the Prize-giving party on February 26th 2010.
ON THE WATER AT THE START: - we need people on the water to help with the start, 22nd Feb, especially if you have access to a large dinghy or other suitable vessel.
