RED CROSS CELEBRATES 73RD ANNIVERSARY Friday 17th October 2014
The Antigua & Barbuda Red Cross will be observing its 73rd Anniversary of Humanitarian Service on Monday October 20th ,2014.
The Red Cross is recognized by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda as a Voluntary Aid Society auxiliary to the public authorities and acting for the benefit of the civilian population.
Some Red Cross activities include ; HIV/AIDS Education , Teaching First Aid , Swimming / Water Safety , Medical Equipment Loans, Welfare Services, Blood Services, Disaster Response, Tracing and First Aid Service for events.
As we celebrate this milestone in providing assistance to the most vulnerable in our society, we urge the general public to get involved in Red Cross activities by: Volunteering, be Trained, Donate Blood or make a monetary donation to our worthy cause.
