Located in the heart of the Leeward Islands, the tropical twin-island paradise of Antigua and Barbuda renowned for its 365 beautiful beaches and clear azure blue waters, also boasts captivating culture, exhilarating activity and rich historical treasures with something to appeal to all whether couples, families or friends seeking the ultimate getaway.

PICTURE-PERFECT PRISTINE BEACHES

Many of Antigua and Barbuda’s famed beaches rest inside the calm, protected waters on the Caribbean Sea. Here, clear turquoise water gently laps against 365 sugary white sand beaches creating the most seductively breath-taking seashore in the world. Since all the country’s beaches are open to the public, your only challenge is determining the one that best suits your mood of the day. From sunbathing and swimming, to sailing, scuba and snorkeling, these beaches are enjoyed year-round by the adventure seeker, water nymph and bookworm alike… while romance seekers come to enjoy the many breath-taking sunsets made even more spectacular by the legendary green flash that accompanies that last dip.

TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME

Historic sugar mills and forts dot Antigua and Barbuda’s landscape. History buffs will be impressed with a visit to Nelson’s Dockyard voted ‘Best Attraction in the Caribbean’. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2016, Nelson’s Dockyard is the only continuously working Georgian naval dockyard in the world. Fully restored to its original splendor, the eighteenth and nineteenth century buildings of the Dockyard house modern amenities such as shops, hotels, and marina businesses. Outside the dockyard, forts are waiting to be explored on hiking trails that allow you to enjoy the park’s scenic and natural beauty.

A TANTALIZING MELTING POT
Gushing over Antigua and Barbuda’s 365 white sandy beaches goes without saying, but with the recent culinary explosion on this twin-island paradise, the cuisine, from West Indian zest to international fare has taken centre stage. Tropical rhythms, radiant sunsets, picture-perfect azure waters, now simply add Antigua and Barbuda’s diverse population of Afro-Caribbean, Lebanese, European and Asian influences - creating a melting pot of cuisines, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a foodie holiday in Antigua and Barbuda.

A LOVER'S PARADISE
With some of the world’s most romantic and secluded locations, Antigua and Barbuda provides the ultimate setting for dream weddings and honeymoons with all the facilities and expertise available to ensure you that your wedding and/or honeymoon is seamless and stress-free. There is no better place to say ‘I do’ to the one you love than in Antigua and Barbuda, voted the Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination for the fourth time in a row by the World Travel Awards. Browsing through the island destination’s honeymoon registry reveals a host of suggestions on all the wonderful experiences that friends and family can purchase as a wedding gift.
