Mango Pineapple Culinary Competition 2011 off to a fantastic start to this years event. Well done to all participants. Competition was fierce! Saturday was the first heat of this year's professional Chefs and Bartenders event. A total of 17 chefs and 8 bartenders took part. 3 Bartenders and 6 Chefs are through to Sunday's final cook/mix-off.

After 2 days of competing, who came out on top? The final round was a difficult mystery basket event, where the chefs had to use all the mystery basket ingredients in their dish. They certainly had to think on their feet. And the winners were....
