NEW ENTRIES FOR 2019 ANTIGUA CLASSICS Wednesday 19th December 2018
The Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta welcomes two new entries Greywing 2, and Blackfish, and returning particpants Juno, Columbia, and Peter Von Seestermuehe. The 2019 regatta is set for 17 - 23 April; register here.
GREYWING 2 - a 22ft 1970 John Watkinson yawl from Montserrat.
Greywing 2
JUNO - beautiful sleek 65ft Nat Benjamin schooner, built in 2003 at Gannon and Benjamin Marine Railway: one of our much-loved, regular participants returns again after a turbulent 2018 during which hurricanes put paid to much sailing action in the Caribbean.
Juno
BLACKFISH - a 49ft 2017 Jim Taylor design sloop, built at Brooklin Boatyard, Maine.
Blackfish
COLUMBIA - this stunning 141ft schooner returns for the 3rd time - launched in 2014 by Eastern Shipbuilding Group, she is the exact replica, in steel, of the eponymous 1923 Starling-Burgess fishing boat.
Columbia
PETER VON SEESTERMUEHE - this 59ft Henry Gruber yawl, built in 1936 in Germany and with a fascinating history, has been a regular and enthusiastic participant every two years at the Antigua Classics and we welcome her back.
