ACYR - JUST ONE MONTH TO GO! Friday 23rd March 2018
March 22nd, 2018 - We are getting really excited and all geared up and ready to go for the next Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in April!
As a prelude to the usual four days of superb racing in the Caribbean sun, we kick off with a welcome party featuring live music by “The Strays” who are back again by popular request. The following day begins with the highly anticipated Concours d’Elégance which is sponsored this year by the Herreshoff Marine Museum of Bristol, Rhode Island. We are honoured to be welcoming the well-known British writer and broadcaster Tom Cunliffe who will be joining the team of judges. This is followed by the Single-Handed Race, showcasing the amazing seamanship skills of each skipper.
Our shoreside activities will reward you every day with cold Wadadli beer and delicious Mount Gay Rum after each race and evening entertainment includes the very popular sea-shanty competition and open mic night. There is something for everyone and we know you will enjoy this wonderful Regatta with all its well-loved traditions and unique camaraderie.
