ANTIGUA SAILING WEEK

Antigua Sailing Week is delighted to announce Half Moon Bay as an official resort sponsor for the 2016 event. Replay Resorts, the development company which owns the property recently acquired 132 acres of land on 8,000 feet of oceanfront at Half Moon Bay, including the site of the former Half Moon Bay Hotel.

Half Moon Bay Spectator Boats
In executing its sponsorship, Half Moon Bay will be getting involved on and off the water. The Half Moon Bay Spectator Boats will set sail on Sunday 24th April from Falmouth Harbour Marina and head out to chase the races and get up close to the action.  After snorkelling and lunch the boats will head back to shore so spectators can attend the English Harbour Rum Festival taking place that afternoon and evening at Antigua Yacht Club where sailors and spectators alike will dance the night away dockside.
 
Sailing Week Antigua Team (SWAT) and the Green Team
As a major supporter of the event, Half Moon Bay will also be sponsoring the Sailing Week Antigua Team (SWAT) and the Green Team. As an essential  part of delivering the event off the water the Green Team, in partnership with non-governmental organisations Environmental Awareness Group and Sailors for the Sea, makes sure the environmental aspects of the event run smoothly and it will continue to build on last year's green initiatives to ensure a continued reduction of the regatta's environmental impact.
