McLaren Global Sport Solutions (MGSS), a sport consulting company based in Toronto, Canada, is participating in this year’s Antigua Sailing Week 2014. The company has sponsored a crew participating in the big race.
MGSS provides specialized services to clients in both professional and elite amateur sport throughout the world. Richard McLaren, CEO and Matoula Charitsis, President of McLaren Global Sport are participating among the crew during Sailing Week 2014. The company is making its first appearance in the Caribbean, meeting with the sport community of Antigua and Barbuda while taking in the sailing experience. The Caribbean plays an important role in the global sport community, including sports like Cricket, Football (soccer) and the Olympics which continue to grow in this region. “We at MGSS feel it is important to work with organizations and clubs within the region to assist with their presence as leaders in the global sport community,” commented Ms. Charitsis. “We want to partner with our clients to preserve the integrity of sport through the work we conduct ensuring education around ethics and governance is at the core of sport organizations”.
