ANTIGUA SAILING WEEK

In a 2013 study, NOAA  National Centres for Coastal Ocean Science researchers and their partners discovered that a sunscreen chemical commonly used in many soaps, cosmetics, and body fragrances is highly toxic to corals.
Elkhorn Marine Conservancy (EMC) coral restoration programme is working to protect our corals. Their safe-sunscreen initiative aims to educate the public as to why we should not be using chemical sunscreens.
