VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Thursday 11th November 2010
As with most events on island, Antigua Sailing Week is a non-profit organisation which relies heavily on sponsorship to deliver an exciting week of sailing on the water, and parties off the water.
One of the most critical things to ensure the success of the event is to have a fantastic team of volunteers taking part. Volunteers have underpinned the success of Antigua Sailing Week for many years and do anything from be on the committee boat out on the water, to meeting and greeting guests at social events, helping build the event village or be general handy men and women.
This year we would like to invite anyone who wants to get involved to let us know. Immediately, we are in need of help in performing administrative duties to develop our direct marketing database, helping manage the media, setting up and being involved in the committee desk, meeting and greeting guests and lots of other roles.
Whether you are new to volunteering or helped out before we would love to hear from you letting us know the kind of thing you are happy to get involved in, and whether it is in organisation and administration in the run up, during and after the event, or in the event itself on the ground.
