"A Top-Notch Place" - Reviewed August 20, 2013

If all I can come up with as a minus point is that our in-room Gaggia coffee machine was noisy (and I suspect work up our neighbours as we made coffee at 6am) then you know things must have been pretty good here. Very stylishly done: extremely inviting rooms and bathrooms, with fridge-like a/c when the August humidity became a little much. A beautiful beach, not particularly long, but immaculate and idyllic, and with the nicest swimming you could hope for. Hobie Cats to sail in the bay, tubing for the kids (for an extra charge) and options to go reef fishing, scuba diving, sunset cruising etc. We ate almost all our meals at the laid back Indigo on the Beach restaurant where I thought the menu offered EXACTLY what you felt like eating on a hot holiday. East restaurant was altogether a smarter deal but had really excellent Far Eastern themed food. A bit too hot and humid for tennis (at least for London lightweights) but a great gym and spa. Altogether, we loved it (with kids aged 17 and 20) and would go back in a heartbeat.
