Forest on Stones on BBC's Saving Species
With the help of a few EAG members and friends, natural history writer Michael Scott visited Antigua's Forest on Stones in 2012 to explore and interview persons who could give insight on the history and importance of the area. His report has been filed with the BBC and is expected to air on the Saving Species programme just after 1100hrs UK time on Tuesday 12th February (7am Antigua time), and will be repeated at 2100hrs (5pm Antigua time) on Thursday 14th February. You should be able to listen to the programme live via the "listen now" link on the "Saving Species" website at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010x8sq but, after the programme is broadcast, a link goes onto the website for the recorded programme, so you should be able to listen anytime after it first goes out.
ECAB GREEN INITIATIVE
Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank (ECAB) is attempting to reduce paper usage through its 'Go Green, Go eStatements' initiative. If you are an ECAB customer, choose to switch from receiving paper statements to receiving electronic statements. For each customer that does this before 31st January, 2013, ECAB will donate $1 to EAG's summer Camp GROW.
