WE WANT YOUR PLASTIC SHOPPING BAGS!
Thursday 12th July 2012

We want your plastic shopping bags!

Camp GROW 2012 is fast approaching and needs YOUR help! This year our campers will be making their very own jump ropes out of used plastic shopping bags – and with 60 campers – we’ll be needing a lot of bags!! There is certainly no shortage of these on Island, but we need some help collecting them.

Coloured bags are definitely a plus, but we will take as many black and white bags as you have! You can drop your bags at the EAG office in the upstairs of the Museum on Long Street or call our office at 462-6236 for alternative drop-off sites. With your help, we can give these bags a much better fate than ending up in our landfills, or worse, our oceans.
