49TH ANNUAL ANTIGUA SPORTS FISHING TOURNAMENT & MARLIN CLASSIC Wednesday 25th March 2015
"Enjoy the fishing, enjoy the lime!" This year’s 49th Annual Antigua Sports Fishing Tournament and Marlin Classic will be held from May 21st - 24th, hosted in Antigua's historical marina Nelson's Dockyard. The Marlin Classic will take place on May 22nd, with the Tournament on May 23rd & 24th with Prize giving set for the evening of the 24th.
This year, the Government of Antigua & Barbuda has made a commitment to providing all fishing vessels with Duty Free Fuel for the duration of the Tournament. Also new to the tournament this year will be additional entertainment; on Day 1 there will be a live Steel Pan Band, a Fashion show and music from DJ Tanny. After fishing on Day 2, enjoy live music by Itchyfeet after the prize giving, from 8:30 pm onward. This year also sees a new prize for the best photo captured during the tournament by any crew member. Spectators and on-land followers can stay updated with their live update booth with real-time catch report, points and leader boards, and a photo reel of images from the event.
Along with what's new this year, come out for the after-fishing lime with a wide variety of food and drinks on sale, plus entertainment, games for children, great raffles and prizes and more.
Registration for the Marlin Classic ends on May 21st, with the Fishing Tournament registration deadline on May 22nd. Boats are available for charter for the tournament also; visit fishingantigua.com, fishantigua.com or antiguafishing.com.

Largest Blue Marlin 300lbs & over - $10,000EC
Sporting Division, Champion Boat 25' & Over $2,000EC & a Shimano Tiagra 50 2-speed (valued $2,565.00EC)
Sporting Division, Champion Boat 25' & Under $1,000EC & a Shimano Tiagra 50 2-speed (valued $2,565.00EC)
