The 2nd Antigua and Barbuda Marlin Classic which took place on 28th May 2012 saw three boats leave Nelson's Dockyard Marina early in the morning in search of the big blue.
Overdraft with Captain Frankie Hart, Double Header with Captain Derek Biel and Rum n' Coke with Captain Mick Liney competed against each other in the winner takes all event.
After many long fought battles, Frankie Hart and Overdraft were victorious tagging and releasing only one blue marlin which gave them 300 points. Mick Liney captain of Rum n' Coke was quoted as saying never had he found so many fish so fast, but all eluded the catch.
A smiling Frankie and his crew received their trophy and a cash prize of US$2400 last night in a casual ceremony in Nelson's Dockyard. The outstanding crew of Michael Pigott, Christopher Gomes, Nico Psihoyos and Brian Nunes joined Captain Hart in celebrating their victory.
