Big Banana Group of Companies is currently recruiting for the position of Group Human Resource Manager.
Summary of Role & Responsibilities:
The HR Manager will take ownership of all HR matters across a diverse set companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key areas of responsibility include, HR department administration, general HR Policy. Talent recruitment and development,
Model the company's values and champion integration of the right comportment into the business operations and team engagement.
Find creative and practical ways to guide all management in the implementation of the best HR practices and processes for each business unit within the parameters of the national labour law.
Recruit, train and development and HR operations service delivery across multiple departments/businesses.
Support leadership of business unit teams for optimal performance of the businesses. Develop and implement team support and wellbeing policies within the framework of the companies' organization and structure.
Professional qualifications in Human Resources. E.g., SHRM or CIPD. OR A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management
Minimum 4 years' experience in human resources in the hospitality industry
Good working knowledge of national employment laws/practice
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
Experience in educating and coaching staff
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Ability to lead/give presentations
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws
Advanced competency in Microsoft applications -Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
