TEEN SPLASH, LEO AND CDC SEND OFF MARQUIS Wednesday 21st August 2013
Executives of the CDC, The Source Teen Splash Subcommittee and The Leo Club of Antigua joined little Marquis George-Beazer and his grandmother Dornalyn Beazer at the V.C. Bird International Airport today, ahead of his departure for a medical check-up. Marquis travelled to the Bahamas to visit a Wilm's Tumour specialist, as a part of the follow up to his battle with the form of pediatric kidney cancer.
More than $13,000 was raised towards medical assistance for Marquis, through the combined efforts of The Source Teen Splash, The Leo Club of Antigua and the Carnival Development Committee.
