SEMI FINALISTS OF PARTY MONARCH 2013 Wednesday 3rd July 2013
Several big stars of soca, along with a few newcomers, made it to the semi-finals last week with the close of the Party Monarch quarterfinals.
Tanzania Sebastian advanced in the Jumpy and Groovy sections of the contest.
David Edwards of the Burning Flames will contend in both sections, as well as Ricardo Drue, and Joel "Hard Knaxx" Lewis.
Claudette Peters moved up in the Groovy section.
Other semi-finalists, in their respective sections, now include:
(Both): De Lyrics Man, Blade, Kimmy, Jukey Dan, Set On, Lyrical Reds, Laurena Davis, and Janine.
(Groovy): Ninety, Shani, Tammy, Soca Shatta, Twenty 2, Bernard De Nully, and Tone-A-Voice.
(Jumpy): K Lee, Nadia, Ammi Ben Israel, Bell Iye, King Sonic, Princess Thalia, Ratty Gan and Zacari.
Naturally, Tian Winter, holding both crowns, will be fighting to defend them in the finals.
Party Monarch semi-finals will take place Saturday, July 13.
