NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR CDC Thursday 10th May 2012
The Carnival Development Committee has decided not to implement the Registration Fee process as it is not in a position to do so in the way intended.
“In the interest of moving forward preparations for this year’s festivities and as a demonstration of good faith, we have opted to discontinue the registration fee requirement. It is the CDC’s desire to work hand in hand with all stakeholders of Carnival in an effort to produce one of the greatest summer festivals for the people of Antigua and Barbuda and visitors to our shores,” noted CDC Chairman Kayode O’Marde.
The CDC therefore wishes to advise that registration for ALL areas of Carnival is now open without the registration fee requirement. Individuals who have already registered for the various events/competitions are advised to contact the National Festivals Office for further information.
Carnival 2012 will be held from July 28 to August 7.
