JHYC MARCH SOCIAL EVENTS Friday 13th February 2015
The Jolly Harbour Yacht Club will be holding social events throughout March, including another BBQ on Sunday March 29th.
Our next event will be a charity event for Sailability in Antigua and Barbuda. This will take the form of a Pudding Club and will be held at The Underdog Bar on March 2nd at 7pm. The cost of the tickets is $100EC entrance is by ticket only All proceeds will go to Sailability. They urgently require a boat winch and person hoist to assist with Manoeuvring/launching the boats and lifting the disabled persons into trimarans. The cost of these 2 Items is $10,000EC.
Mark has very kindly donated the venue including the kitchen free of charge. The Pudding Club Consists of a main course tasting plate followed by 8 desserts that are paraded around the room and put on a buffet table for you to help yourself to. We then nominate the best pudding of the evening. I have organised many of these in England, they are great fun.
The food is being prepared by myself and a group of lovely ladies from Jolly Harbour. We are running a tombola and any contribution would be welcomed.
I am also looking for volunteers to contribute puddings, all the recipes I have chosen can be
made with limited villa equipment.
Sunday March 8th we are organising a treasure hunt, details to follow.
