JOLLY HARBOUR YACHT CLUB(JHYC) NEW SCHEDULE Wednesday 19th May 2010
Jolly Harbour Yacht Club(JHYC) has been having a fun Spring Saturday sailing series with the new schedule. We have seven races per series (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn). The other Saturdays/weekends are trips to other islands, destinations or events. JHYC makes sure we have a sailing event every Saturday all year long. We recently had a long weekend trip to our sister island Barbuda that was a huge success. With great sailing, cookouts, snorkeling and swimming.
JHYC is still working harder than ever to promote the Youth sailing program for local kids to learn to sail for free. We are also proud to have helped sailing to become part of the national curriculum in Antigua schools. We are working with the Government to now expand the program to as many children a possible.
Keep an eye out for some big changes to JHYC's two big Regattas. In November, the JHYC Regatta and our JHYC Valentine's Regatta.
If you are sailing to Antigua or looking to make a trip somewhere, come to Jolly Harbour Marina and come sailing with us. Everyone is welcomed to sail with us on Saturdays. Or you can also choose to take a weekend trip with us.
