BLUE RIB MISSING FROM JOLLY HARBOUR SINCE LATE APRIL Monday 30th May 2011
Jolly Harbour Yacht Club Member Jody Sallons-Day recently had her blue RIB stolen from the dock opposite her house in Jolly Harbour and Jody would like your assistance is helping her to find it!
"I would really like your help in keeping an eye open whilst on the water and passing this on to your crew, posting on your facebook etc. Lines were cut right by the cleats (why is that easier than taking it off the cleats?).Please forward this to anyone you know in St Martin and Guadeloupe. I'd love to know where it is, even if it has been knocked about. I believe it is the only blue rib around and it is easily identifiable by us. Stolen from Jolly Harbour (opposite my house where I can usually see it) between midnight on Thursday 29th and Saturday 30th morning.
It's recently been anti-fouled, overhauled and has the following onboard (under the jockey seat):
- new ladder
- oars
- 5 life jackets
- new large water-proof plastic box
- large Danforth anchor
- first aid kit
- water proof jackets
- 2 x 6.5 gallon fuel tanks
- 1 x 5 gallon container
- bilge pump
- ski tow rope
- lots of lines
- other misc kit which I will come to realise later...
