As a family, we have been visiting Antigua for 30 years so when it came to our eldest son’s wedding, this was where we wanted it to be. We planned for a wedding week all over Antigua in April 2017. The logistics seemed against us – there were going to be around 100 guests to cater for who travelled from the US, UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and were staying all over the island. However, after we were introduced to Tracy by The Inn at English Harbour and as arrangements progressed, so did our confidence that we were in very safe hands.
Having spoken by phone, we first met Tracy several months earlier. On this first meeting we were presented with several options for the cake, hairdresser and makeup artist, music, photographer, photo booth, videographer, fireworks and florist. We were informed of a realistic timetable, and given breakdowns of the costs and logistics. Tracy’s meticulous attention to detail, lovely ideas and recommendations and very hands-on guidance of events in the run up and on the day were first class. She really did take any stress out of the equation for us and was cool and helpful throughout the months of planning and the actual wedding.
As it was a Jewish ceremony we had a Rabbi from Miami presiding. This entailed several cultural features such as the chuppah (a religious canopy) and a different ceremonial protocol. Tracy was very proactive in enabling this, going so far as to advising on the position of the chuppah given the high winds of Sailing Week meant it could likely fly off!
On the day itself, everything (even the weather) was perfect. Tracy was highly professional and dependable, ensuring all went to plan. Our wedding went like a dream, and this was no easy feat. We are very happy with Tracy and Indigo Event Services and we would recommend them without hesitation.
