One of the most important aspects of chartering a private yacht with friends and family is the luxury yacht cuisine. You will be eating breakfast, lunch, dinner onboard and everything in-between, including fresh fruit smoothies, tea time delights, cocktails and canapés in some combination every day and we at Nicholson Charters know how important a job the chef has in accommodating you and your guests wants and needs on a daily bases.
Yacht Charter Chefs are trained and eager to please their guests; they want to make your favorite dishes, create a party for a Birthday or anniversary and will provide delicious healthy fresh meals that appeal to everyone. They will always use lots of local fruits, vegetables, shellfish and meats from the area you are cruising to incorporate into their dishes.
If you want Classic French, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, Japanese or a good American BBQ your chef will be able to show off their skills. Most of our chefs can accommodate gluten free, vegan, lactose intolerance and a variety of dietary issues with ease and will make every effort to create meals that will delight your taste buds using fresh local ingredients.
Every year Charter Specialist Sarah Sebastian once a Charter Yacht Chef herself and Cordon Bleu trained, organizes Charter Yacht Chefs Competitions in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean where chefs on similar size yachts compete in a variety of culinary tasks to produce wonderful offerings for professional judges to taste and choose winners.
These competitions are very popular as the Yacht Charter Chefs love to show off their talents competing and win the acclaim of being one of the best in the Charter Yacht industry. Knowing these yachts and chefs so well enables us to give top quality service to our charter clients when choosing the right Yacht with the right crew for their charter.
