REPRINTING OF THE 1933 CAMACHO MAP Wednesday 24th August 2011
The Museum of Antigua & Barbuda will be issuing a reprint of the 1933 map of Antigua done by Alex A. Camacho. The map highlights the sugar estates still in production alongside important cultural landmarks such as the city of St. John’s, locomotive lines, and Antigua’s bustling harbour towns.
The map will be printed by Sign Pro on an acid-free matte finish, artist stretch inkjet canvas designed for long-term, fade resistant fine art or photo reproductions when imaged with solvent inks. The polyester/cotton inkjet canvas has a specifically designed coating, which delivers superior color gamut and resolution and is also water resistant.
